The 2024 Animal Forensic Investigations Conference is a three-day event offered in Gainesville, Florida. Hosted by the University of Florida’s Veterinary Forensic Sciences Laboratory, in collaboration with industry experts, this conference will offer educational sessions on a wide variety of topics pertaining to criminal investigations, law, small animal investigations, equine and livestock investigations, and wildlife crimes. This conference is open to anyone interested in animal forensic investigations. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with faculty, experts, and investigators.

Poster Submission

The Veterinary Forensic Sciences Laboratory is pleased to invite poster submissions for the 2024 Animal Forensic Investigations Conference. The poster session offers an opportunity to present research findings with particular emphasis on animal cruelty investigations. We particularly invite students and trainees to submit abstracts for consideration.

Scholarships

We are happy to announce that we have two scholarships available to Animal Control Officers to cover the registration costs to the 2024 UF Animal Forensic Investigation Conference. We know that many agencies are faced with decreasing training budgets and our goal is to get you that training. Thanks to the National Animal Care and Control Association we are able to help get two ACOs to our conference.
