We are happy to welcome our newest team member, Justin Jones, to the CDPM Department at UFCVM. He started February 23 and will be working with us as the Administrative Specialist II in our admin office Monday – Friday from 8AM – 5PM.
Justin will support faculty, staff, graduate students, residents, etc. in administrative activities and directives of the Chair and needs regarding teaching, research, and service responsibilities. This includes personnel recruitment, effort certification, salary distribution, promotion & tenure overview, space overview, grants, website updates and special assignments, among many other duties.

Hello, my name is Justin Jones, and I am excited to join the College of Veterinary Medicine as the new CDPM Administrative Specialist II. I was born and raised in Florida and have lived throughout the state. About nine years ago, I moved to Gainesville from Jacksonville, and I have worked at UF for nearly eight years. I earned my Associate of Arts in General Studies from Florida State College at Jacksonville, and I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Fire and Emergency Management. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, visiting theme parks, being outdoors, kayaking in the springs, and hanging out with my 10-year-old dog, Kloie. I’m truly excited to work with and get to know everyone.
