Our Annual UFCVM Holiday Food drive has officially started our annual holiday food drive to support the local Bread of the Mighty Food Bank, a branch of Feeding Northeast Florida. This is the 14th year (!!) of our college food drive, and we are so fortunate the UFCVM family has proven year after year to be such a giving and generous community.
Last year, we collected $1,375 pounds of food and $655.86 in financial donations, with an overall impact of 5,080 meals to help feed the food insecure in our community!
The first pick up was November 21 and we brought in 756 pounds of food! Nearly double what was brought in on the first pick up date last year. The next and final pick up date is December 18.
Bins are located in CDPM Admin Office V2-117 – Let’s fill it up again this year several times!
