Dr. Stern: Honored for work in animal forensics

Dr. Adam Stern and the Veterinary Forensics Sciences Laboratory hosted a three-day Animal Forensic Investigations Conference in Gainesville May 20-22 at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center.

The conference covered all aspects of an animal cruelty investigation including scene response, forensic examinations of animals and testimony in court. As part of the event, the International Society for Animal Forensic Sciences presented Stern, a professor of veterinary forensic pathology, with the Superior Accomplishment in Animal Forensic Sciences, an award given for his efforts to promote the use of animal forensic sciences.
